What Should I Know Before Booking?
Until your deposit is made, your date is not secured in the MEGAN BAKES calendar.
If we have been corresponding back and forth with you, I could be also chatting with another inquiry as well for the same date. So if you are interested in securing your date, please let me know so we can move forward with your booking!
Delivery bookings must be made aware before your deposit is paid as we may be pre-booked with pickup/delivery times prior to your event. Time slots are based on a first come first served basis. If you are interested in booking an event with us and your delivery slot is taken please arrange with a family member or friend for your bakes to be picked up if you are unable to do so!
All deliveries are conducted between 10am and 2pm. Please let us know if you require a different delivery time.
Most of our bakes will require refrigeraion, so it is recomended that someone is home during the time of delivery.
MEGAN BAKES does offer complimentary delivery on all cupcake and cake orders within 20km - this helps us ensure that all your bakes arrive in one peice safe, sound and ready to party!
Unfortunately we do not deliver to any location further than 60km - but we are more than happy to refer you to another cake artisit closer to you!
Cancellations will result in a forfeit of your non-refundable deposit. A credit will be issued in the amount of your deposit, to be used at a later date upon the availability in the MEGAN BAKES calender.
Orders that are cancelled within 4 days of your event date will result in the full booking amount being forfeited. That being said, we do understand that things can happen without our control so if you need to move your date we require you notify MEGAN BAKES via email. If your requested date is approved, you will be noitfied. Please note that requested dates are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
Any changes to your design must be requested via email and made 3 days prior to your event date,
MEGAN BAKES would like to ensure that you are aware of the best storage and handling care for your order. MEGAN BAKES accepts no responsibility if an order is damaged after it has been picked up by the client or delivered to your location/event space.
If you will be travelling with your order to a seperate location than the address provided for your delivery, it is recommended that you make MEGAN BAKES aware so we can provide as much detail and assistance to ensure the best storage and travelling/handling care for your order.

If you are after a particular style or design of cake, that is great!
We love that you have a vision and know what you want. But please keep in mind that we do not copy other designers work. Every design is a part of someone intellectual property and to copy without giving credit, is like a form of stealing for a baker.
What we will do, is try to honor your vision but of course add our own MEGAN BAKES style!
